April Picone joined the Heather Bassett Podiatry Group in January 2010.

April completed a Bachelor Of Health Science (Podiatry) at Charles Sturt Univeristy in Albury in 2009.

 April is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW) and Wound Management Victoria

April Picone has a special interest in nails surgery, diabetic foot management and providing primary care.  April is also interested in sports injuries related to the lower limbs and feet.  She is also has a keen interested in Biomechanics.  April aims to bring a holistic approact to her patient care and management.

April has expereince in high risk diabetes wound care, nails,  corns and callous care, prescription orthoses and nail surgeries.  April plays netball in a competitive environment and knows the rigors this can put of feet, ankles and knees.  April is a keen sports fan with interests in the Cricket and AFL.
