Callus
Callus (or hyperkeratosis) is thickening of the skin on your feet. Callus forms in areas that are subjet to increase pressue. Common areas that you can get callus are on the heels, under the big toe or under the ball of your foot.
We use sterile instruments to debride your callous. If we don't address what is causing your callus it will continue to come back even after debridement.
The Podiatrists at Heather Bassett Podiatry Group will address what is causing your callous and suggest treatment options that aim to reduce the amount of callus build up you get.
We will also advise YOU on approriate emollients you can use at home to get rid of dry, rough, cracked heels.
Don't put up with painful callous. Call now to make an appointment!
